The Habous Quarter

With a history that exceeds a hundred years, the Habous Quarter was constructed in the Moroccan traditional style of architecture to become a Bourgeois neighborhood. However, with all the economical and social changes that Marrakesh has witnessed during the last decade, Habous has turned to be a more common quarter.
The Habous Quarter is famous for hosting some of the most significant traditional Moroccan handcrafts and one of the most ancient and largest libraries in the country. The products sold in the quarter include clothes, simple jewelry, leather bags, copper items, wooden tools, and handmade carpets.
