General Information
  • This ship offers slightly longer cruises than other members of the NCL fleet. Until September, the Star tours the Baltic capitals on a nine day cruise, making five ports of call from its Copenhagen home, Warnemunde in Germany, a day at sea, Tallinn in Estonia, St Petersburg, Russias UNESCO world-heritage second city and the Finnish capital of Helsinki. Next stop is Stockholm in Sweden, followed by another day at sea and a return to Copenhagen.
  • On September 10, an epic 33 day cruise takes the ship to Miami, making 15 ports of call, including all the Baltic cruise stops and then calling at Scotland, the Faroe Islands, Portugal, and then six days at sea before arriving in Miami. Up until February 2014, the ship then embarks on a series of cruises through the Panama Canal between Miami and Los Angeles.
  • Typically these 14-night cruises make four stops in Mexico, with Costa Rica, Panama and Colombia featuring on the itinerary.
