The Malbork Castle in Poland

The Malbork Castle is considered the biggest in the whole globe and one of the most impressive monuments of Poland. Constructed in the 13th century, the castle is now one of the historical sites included in the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Moreover, huge number of tourists who spend their vacations in Poland explore the castle.

Built by a group called the Teutonic Knights their fortress, these knights used the Malbork Castle to protect them against any out attacks. Around the middle of the 15th century, the castle became part of the Western section of Persia. Today the Malbork Castle welcomes hundreds of tourists everyday who travel to Poland.

From the 15th till the 18th century, the castle acted as the royal residence of many Polish kings. With around 52 acres, the Malbork Castle is the largest fortress in Europe and among the biggest in the world. With many distinctive architectural and decorative features, many travelers who tour Poland are keen to explore the castle as part of their tours.
