Dinosaur fossils in Neuquen in Argentina

Those who are interested in dinosaurs should never miss the chance to explore Neuquren. Discovered in 1988, Neuquen hosts the largest and most impressive dinosaurs’ fossils all over the world.

At the end of the 1980s, a local archeologist from Argentina discovered a large bone that belongs to a dinosaur. Afterwards, several others were unearthed. The largest was  a 40 meters bone that belongs to a herbivore that date to the Cretaceous period.

Many travelers who tour Argentina would explore the city of Neuquen for the wonderful dinosaurs bones and fossils. To the South east of the city as well, around 80 kilometers, there the 13 meters long bone of a meat eating dinosaur that is claimed to be dating to more than 100 million years.
