DAY 1: Depart for Italy

DAY 2: Arrive in Florence, Transfer to Montecatini

  • Arrive in Florence and transfer to your hotel in Montecatini. The rest of the day is at leisure to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Tonight, you will have a light dinner with your fellow travelers

DAY 3: Excursion to Florence

  • Today, travel to Florence, birthplace of the Italian Renaissance. Upon arrival, take a guided walking tour through the heart of Florence, to view the magnificent Duomo, with its Brunelleschi-designed dome, the renowned "Gates of Paradise" of the Baptistery by Ghiberti and Giottos Bell Tower. Proceed to the open-air art museum of Signoria Square and admire the statues of the Loggia dei Lanzi, Palazzo Vecchio, former residence of the Medici family before continuing to Ponte Vecchio, the "Old Bridge". Spend time on your own in the early afternoon to visit museums, shop for gold and quality leather before returning to Montecatini

DAY 4: Full Day in Montecatini

  • Explore Montecatini and countinued with Full Day Siena from Montecatini, Enjoy a tour of the medieval city of Siena, site of the famous Horserace of Palio. This traditional race takes place each year on July 2nd and August 16th, and runs in celebration of the holy apparition and assumption of the Virgin Mary, patron saint of the city. Tour Campo Square and St. Dominics Church before returning to Montecatini. This evening indulge in the Tuscan atmosphere, its food and wines

DAY 5: Full Day in Montecatini

  • Spend a full day to explore Montecatini and its surroundings on your own, countinued with Cinque Terre Tour, Today, travel to the spectacular Cinque Terre, one of the most beautiful areas of the Liguria region. Here, the five small villages of Riomaggiore, Manarola, Corniglia, Vernazza & Monterosso are all part of the Cinque Terre National Park and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Your tour will include a visit to at least two of these spectacular villages, nestled in the cliffs overlooking the sea and the surrounding hillsides. This active trip covers a fair amount of ground. Expect from three to four hours walking where you will encounter some uneven surfaces, stairs, steps and significant slopes. Trains and/or boats will be the means of transportation. Tonight enjoy dinner at your hotel

DAY 7: The Gorgeous Amalfi Drive

  • Embark on one of the most spectacular drives in the world along the rugged Amalfi Coast, with its dramatic landscapes and amazing panoramas. Nestled into mountains that rise thousands of feet above the sea, youll see enchanting villages, cliffs terraced with lemon groves, whitewashed villas and sparkling turquoise seas. Drive by Positano and stop in Amalfi, named a UNESCO World Heritage Site, to spend time at leisure in town. Return to your hotel in the late afternoon

DAY 8: Full Day in Naples

  • Spend the day in Naples, strikingly beautiful with its seaside setting and city monuments. Countinued with Full Day Capri, Enjoy a full day journey to the colorful Isle of Capri by boat. Visit the lovely Anacapri and explore the charming shops and chic boutiques as you stroll the islands narrow streets. Continue to see "La Piazzetta," the social heart of the island, on your way to the open-air Gardens of Augustus, from where you will appreciate breathtaking views of the famous Faraglioni rocks. Tour includes: local guide, round trip transportation to port, round trip transportation by fast boat, minibus or cable car transportation on the island. After a lovely day in Capri, return to Naples and enjoy dinner with your Tour Manager and fellow travelers
