DAY 2, Sunday - Arrive in Catania
Benvenuti! Arrive to the island of Sicily, rich in history, culture and tradition. Transfer to your hotel in Catania. The remainder of the day is at leisure to start exploring one of Sicily's most important cities. Your tour will begin with an orientation meeting with your Tour Manager at approximately 6 PM (exact time will be advised on tour arrival day). We recommend you to select flights that arrive no later than 4 PM

DAY 3, Monday - Catania City Tour
Begin the day with a stroll in Catania, a wonderful combination of ancient and modern, under the shadow of Mt. Etna, the tallest active volcano in Europe. After the city was destroyed in the 17th century, the entire old part of the city was rebuilt in Baroque style with large wide-open squares. Walk the piazzas and the streets and visit its colorful open-air market. Afternoon is at leisure to explore the city on your own. Or, take the optional tour to the old-world resort city of Taormina, also known as the "Jewel of the Ionian Sea." The tour is highlighted by the city's most famous archaeological monument, the Greek Theatre, one of the most celebrated in Sicily

DAY 4, Tuesday - Syracuse
Today depart Catania for Syracuse. Explore the birthplace of Archimedes, walk through the "Old City," Città Vecchia, located on the island of Ortigia, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with its Temple of Apollo and its Fonte Aretusa, set of one of the most fascinating myths of the city. After free time on your own, continue to Ragusa, arriving in the afternoon

DAY 5, Wednesday - Full Day in Ragusa
Today you can spend the day at your leisure or, choose to participate in an optional walking tour of the city. Indulge in the baroque atmosphere of Ragusa-Ibla, with its breathtaking sights of houses, churches, and palaces that seem layered on top of one another. Enjoy the afternoon at leisure

DAY 6, Thursday - Valley of Temples
This morning, drive to Agrigento to discover the impressive Valley of the Temples, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This splendid archaeological park is the largest in the world with the best-preserved temple ruins outside of mainland Greece. Savor lunch featuring some of the area's local delicacies before continuing to Palermo. Check in to your hotel in the late afternoon

DAY 7, Friday - Full Day in Palermo
Explore the vibrant capital of Sicily on your own or choose to join the optional tour of Palermo & Monreale, where you will travel to the hilltop town of Monreale to visit the Norman Cathedral, with its interior of glittering 12th century Byzantine mosaics and continue for a walking tour of the ancient Old City of Palermo with its incredible mix of architectural styles, including its magnificent cathedral. In the afternoon, discover Palermo on your own with its bustling street markets, winding alleyways and colorful back streets, or stop at a local café and just people-watch, lingering over a cup of coffee, indulge in a delectable gelato or an authentic Sicilian pastry

DAY 8, Saturday - Cefalu on the way to Catania
This morning depart Palermo to the charming Fisherman Village of Cefalu, with its ancient houses facing the sea. Stroll through its medieval settings reaching its magnificent Piazza del Duomo, where you will experience the splendidly intact atmosphere of this pearl of the Tyrrhenian Sea. Then, on to Catania, where you bid farewell to your Tour Manager on your last night in Sicily
