DAY 2, Saturday - Arrive in Krakow
Arrive in Krakow, Poland's former royal capital and transfer to your hotel. The balance of the day is at leisure. Your tour will begin with an orientation meeting with your Tour Manager at approximately 6 PM, followed by a light dinner. We recommend you select flights that arrive no later than 4 PM

DAY 3, Sunday - Krakow City Tour & Christmas Market
Begin the morning tour of medieval Krakow at the historic 16th century Wawel Royal Castle district, where you view the castle and visit the cathedral. Continue to the former Jewish district, with its ancient synagogues and main square of the former ghetto. Afterward, proceed to the Old Town with its lively Market Square. Stop at stately St. Mary's Church with its tall brick tower overlooking the square and the Renaissance Cloth Hall where traders offer a variety of wares as their predecessors did many generations ago. Enjoy free time to browse Krakow's Christmas Market with a variety of wooden stalls full of decorations, holiday gifts, sweets and hot dishes. Later, join the optional Horse Drawn Carriage Ride with dinner. Celebrate the winter season with a horse drawn carriage ride through the snowy Polish countryside. Following your ride, warm yourself up with mulled wine and savor dinner, featuring Polish sausages and other regional specialties

DAY 4, Monday - Travel to Wroclaw & City Tour, Christmas Market
Journey today to Wroclaw, a culturally diverse city, having absorbed Bohemian, Austrian and Prussian influences. This city with its turbulent history has been under occupation by many rulers, king and emperors. Today, Wroclaw flourishes with scenic waterways, attractive buildings, bridges and parks. Arrive in Wroclaw in the afternoon and begin with a visit to Wroclaw University's Aula Leopoldina. This Baroque style ceremonial hall is known for its wonderful acoustics. Admire the frescoes on the ceiling depicting the apotheosis of God's wisdom and view portraits depicting the founding fathers of the university. Continue with a guided tour of the city, known for its Market Square, one of the most beautiful squares in Poland. Wroclaw boasts one of Poland's largest and most beautiful Christmas Markets. Browse its stalls full of decorations, holiday gifts and gingerbread. Tonight, dinner is at the hotel

DAY 5, Tuesday - Kutna Hora, Prague City Tour & Christmas Market
This morning, depart Poland for the Czech Republic. En route to Prague, stop at Kutna Hora, a medieval center of silver-mining. Admire the beautiful Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque burgher houses within the city center. Continue to Sedlec Ossuary, a pilgrimage site for believers from all over Central Europe. Visit the chapel decorated with more than 40,000 human bones, including a chandelier and a coat of arms of the Schwarzenberg noble family. Later, arrive in the Czech capital city of Prague "The City of a Thousand Spires". This afternoon's sightseeing will include a walking tour of the Lesser Town and the Old Town, viewing the 14th century Charles Bridge, with its 30 Baroque statues of various saints. From here, admire the view of Prague Castle. Continue through the Old Town Square to view the famous Old Town Hall Tower & Astronomical Clock, the Municipal House, and Powder Tower. Spend time at the enchanting Christmas Market, held in the Old Town Square, surrounded by a scenic backdrop of Baroque architecture, giving a delightful charm to the numerous wooden stalls selling original ware and festive treats. Today is free to explore intriguing Prague on your own. Experience spectacular vistas of the entire city below

DAY 7, Thursday - Dresden City Tour & Christmas Market, Berlin
Depart Prague and cross into Saxony to the Baroque art city of Dresden, also known as "the Florence on the Elbe River" Discover this astonishing Renaissance city distinguished by its celebrated art museums and classic architecture that emerged from wartime destruction to luxurious splendor. Stop at the Versaille-inspired Zwinger Palace, once setting for court festivities and the world-famous Semper Opera House. Continue to the Baroque Frauenkirche Church, symbol of reconstruction with its magnificent dome. A highlight of the day is an intriguing visit to the celebrated Green Vault to admire the jewels and treasures of Saxon kings. View the State Opera House, Cathedral, bustling Unter den Linden Street and Kurfurstendamm, magnificently decorated with unending rows of sparkling Christmas trees. Time on your own this afternoon to visit Berlin's lively Christmas Market. Sip on mulled wine and munch on Lebkuchen, a gingerbread-like cookie, as you browse stalls with handcrafted gifts beneath canopies of colorful lights. Or, join the optional Berlin's Hidden Past tour and delve beneath the surface to learn more about the defeat of the Nazis, the liberation, and the destruction and division of Germany's capital.
