DAY 2, Sunday - Arrive in Zurich
Arrive in Zurich, Switzerland’s financial center and home to many of the world’s leading banks; transfer to your hotel. The balance of the day is at leisure to rest and relax. Your tour will begin with an orientation meeting with your Tour Manager at approximately 6 pm on the day of arrival, followed by a Welcome Dinner. We recommend that you select flights which arrive in Zurich no later than 4 pm or earlier, if possible

DAY 3, Monday - Morning Tour of Zurich, Berne, Travel to Geneva
Begin this morning with a panoramic drive through the Old Town of Zurich. View Fraumunster Church, St Peter’s church, with Europe’s largest clock, historic Limmatquai, famous Bahnhofstrasse, and National Museum. The tour concludes with a scenic drive along Lake Zurich. Afterward, travel to Berne, the capital of Switzerland, and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Enjoy a stroll through the old town and marvel at the late Gothic Cathedral, the Muenster, with its stunning portal and its depiction of the Last Judgment. Witness the hourly parade of painted figures at the Clock Tower (Zytglogge) and visit the Bear Park, the symbol of the city. Free time for lunch on your own. Continue to cosmopolitan Geneva. Upon arrival in late afternoon check into your hotel. Balance of the day is at leisure

DAY 4, Tuesday - Geneva City Tour
During your morning orientation tour of Geneva, view the Jet d'Eau, Floral Clock and Reformation Monument. Spend the balance of the day at leisure to explore this dynamic city, strung along the shores of Europe's largest Alpine lake. Perhaps take a walk along the lively streets in the old town, stroll the mile-long promenade around the lake or just unwind in one of Geneva's many parks and admire the beautiful scenery. Afterward, there is an opportunity to join the optional Lake Geneva Cruise & Yvoire tour. Relax aboard an elegant cruise on beautiful Lake Geneva, passing by rolling hillsides. Cross over to the French side of the lake and visit the medieval village of Yvoire. Well known for its fortified center and majestic flower displays during the summer season

DAY 5, Wednesday - Tour of Chillon Castle
Drive along the shores of Lake Geneva past the towns of Lausanne and Montreux and through the beautiful vineyard region to the landmark castle of Chillon. Originally built in the 9th century to protect one of the main roads to the Great St. Bernard pass to Italy, its rich history, and distinctive appearance has served as an inspiration to such literary greats as Lord Byron and Victor Hugo. Explore the turrets, corridors, and vaulted dungeons on a guided tour. Then continue your journey as you travel through the majestic Alps. Leave the coach behind in Tasch and journey the final stretch by van, right into the heart of the world-renowned mountain resort of Zermatt

DAY 6, Thursday - Full Day in Zermatt
Enjoy a full day at leisure in this traffic free, quaint Swiss village. Its location, at the foot of the Matterhorn and in the middle of an enormous hiking and ski region, makes Zermatt one of the world's most attractive alpine year-round destinations. Take a leisurely stroll through the traffic-free village and explore the bountiful gift shops and fashionable boutiques. Or take one of the many alpine cars, gondolas or cog railways to further admire the stunning views of glaciers and summits. Don't forget to visit the English church, built in 1877 and its cemetery, with the graves of many mountaineers who have lost their lives on these majestic mountains

This morning, board one of the grandest and most scenic train rides in Europe, the Glacier Express. From Zermatt, the full day leisurely train ride to St Moritz, will transport you past magnificent mountain scenery, waterfalls and rivers, where with each turn, tunnel or bridge a new breathtaking picture is presented. Arrive in world-famous alpine resort town of St Moritz, host of two Winter Olympics and one of the most exclusive ski destinations in the world. Check into your hotel for dinner and overnight

DAY 8, Saturday - Morning at leisure in St. Moritz, Liechtenstein, Travel to Lucerne
Morning is at leisure to explore glitzy St Moritz on your own. Take a stroll on Via Serlas with its string of famous designer boutiques or, linger in one of the many sidewalk cafes and enjoy the spectacular alpine setting. Perhaps, join the optional Horse-Drawn Carriage Ride. Depart from Pontresina a resort town, located at the entrance to the Val Bernina just 4 miles from St Moritz for a ride through the Val Roseg. Marvel at the views of the impressive Bernina massif and the nearby glaciers. In the late morning, travel to Lucerne. En route stop in Liechtenstein, the tiny storybook Principality and the sixth-smallest country in the world that lies in the heart of the Alps, sandwiched between Switzerland and Austria. Its capital city Vaduz is a proud remnant of feudal Europe, still governed by one of the oldest noble families. DAY 9, Sunday - Lucerne City Tour
A day to explore the heart of central Switzerland. Begin this morning with an orientation drive through Lucerne starting at the inspiring Lion Monument. One of the best-known monuments in the country, the Lion of Lucerne was created in remembrance of the heroic death of Swiss guards killed in 1792 during the French Revolution. View the 14th century medieval Chapel Bridge, one of the oldest covered wooden bridges in Europe forming the centerpiece of Lucerne's townscape. Remainder of the day is at leisure. Shop for chocolate, watches and the famous Swiss and German cuckoo clocks, sip coffee at an outdoor café or perhaps join the exciting optional tour to Mount Pilatus. Ascend the world's steepest cogwheel railway which winds up through lush meadows and sparkling mountain streams to the summit of Mt. Pilatus at nearly 7,000 feet.
