Your tour begins with a drive through the city of Arnhem, best known for the WWII operation "Market Garden." The British First Airbourne Division was given the task of securing the main bridge in Arnhem in order to help Allied troops advance into Northern Germany. Drive past the landmarks associated with this battle, and then continue on to the Airborne Museum in Oosterbeek. The museum houses several exhibits detailing the events of the battle, and an impressive collection of weapons, uniforms and documents.
