Termas de Papallacta

This first class hotel is known for its thermal baths located on the banks of the Papallacta river in a unique natural environment accommodating nine hot thermal pools and three cold water pools. Only forty miles east of Quito, the capital city of Ecuador, the spa/resort offers its visitors a unique setting for health, relaxation, recreation, and adventure.

• Location:  Hotel is 40 miles east of Quito (one and half hours), the capital of Ecuador, perched on a high Andean valley at the entrance route to the Ecuadorian Amazon jungle. Hot Springs are located on the banks of the Papallacta river in between two volcanoes creating thermal baths which vary between 30°C and 70°C (86°F and 158°F). Adventure walks at the nearby Canyon Ranch or Cayambe-Coca Ecological Reserve are available.
• Guest Rooms:  Comfortable rooms are fitted in regional decor with basic amenities. The rooms are situated next to the thermal pools for exclusive use of our guests. Cabins, which are located 100 yards from the hotel have fireplaces and much charm. Spa`s hydrotherapy area consists hot thermal pools and cold pools. Also, individual hydro massage, baths, body treatments are offered. Thermal cave and Finnish saunasare are available.
• Restaurants:  Hotel restaurant offers delicious Ecuadorian and international cuisine using ingredients from the organic kitchen garden. Local fresh trout is the specialty. Snacks and drinks are served at the kiosk.
