Khajuraho Temples in India

The Khajuraho Temples represent one of the most distinctive historical sites in India. The complex is included in the World Heritage Sites of the UNESCO. Featured with its Nagara-style architecture, the complex is included in many travel packages to India.

Most of the temples and complexes constructed in Khajuraho were built during the 10th and 11th centuries. The original complex included more than 25 temples over a surface area of more than 20 square kilometers. Khajurahohad a unique concept around its construction. Although most of the temples were built at the same time and in the same place, they were dedicated to two different religions; Hinduism and Jainism.
